Vivienne Medrano is the Salvadoran-American creator and director of Hazbin Hotel. Originally from rural Maryland, Viv studied animation at SVA in NYC where a love for big cities and Broadway was born. After graduating, she began a YouTube channel to grow her original projects. She founded Spindlehorse Animation Studio, which produced the Hazbin pilot as well as another hell-based animated series "Helluva Boss," and other animated projects such as the Hazbin Hotel music video "Addict" that has over 100 million views on YouTube. 

 

Hazbin Hotel's pilot has over 70 million views, and her YouTube Channel has over 6 million subscribers. Both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss have very engaged audiences spanning from teens through adults and often trend on Twitter and YouTube. Vivienne loves musicals, dark comedy, and villainous characters! She has three cats named Pixel, HoneyBee, and Nugget that are her fur babies and control her life-that is when singing animated demons don't!
