Ben Hoffman -- Creator
Ben Hoffman got his start in comedy thinking of witty comebacks to anti-Semitic remarks hurled at him while growing up in Lexington, Kentucky. After getting a useless degree from the University of Kentucky, Ben got his professional start in comedy as a writer/performer on "Sports Show with Norm Macdonald."
This led to his own show, "The Ben Show", which Ben created and starred in for Comedy Central. After being told by America (and the Nielson corporation) that he was better suited for behind-the-camera work, Ben helped launch "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on CBS as a writer and producer, where he thinks he received an Emmy (he was mailed an Emmy certificate but no actual trophy).
As a performer, Ben has three comedy albums that have reached #1 on the Billboard comedy charts.
Ben created "Hoops" for Netflix, which premiered last summer and debuted as the network’s #1 adult animated show. He also voiced the character Timebomb on the show and sang the theme song (which he co-wrote and performed with his brother Scott, a member of the critically acclaimed pop group Scissor Sisters).
Mike Gibbons -- Executive Producer
Mike Gibbons is a multiple Emmy Award-winning comedy writer and producer. He is the creator and EP of "The Great Indoors" on CBS, co-creator and EP of "Tosh.0" and co-creator and EP of "Sports Show with Norm MacDonald". In 2015 Gibbons launched "The Late Late Show with James Corden", for which he won an Emmy Award. He also directed the Carpool Karaoke’s. His other work includes "The Showbiz Show with David Spade", "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "The Burn with Jeff Ross". He is a frequent contributor to "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis", with whom he just worked on a Netflix film.
