On the way to school, Lucy and Pia's parents have an unusually loud, spirited fight. After they're dropped off, Nils informs Lucy Pia this means their parents are probably getting a divorce. And when the girls later learn that their parents are not picking them up and they must attend “Beyond The Bell”, Sandsville Academy’s shitty after school program, the girls both realize it’s true - their parents are definitely getting a divorce. While Pia grows frantic, wanting to prevent the divorce, Lucy claims she doesn’t care what their parents do. She abandons Pia and goes off to spend the afternoon Kitty, who has finally returned from Juvie. Pia sadly remains behind at Beyond The Bell, forced to join the other kids, who turn out to be a scary cult, brought together by their status as children-of-divorce. But Lucy quickly learns the reality of divorce after witnessing Kitty’s sad home life at her apartment, and rushes back to school to admit that Pia was right. But Pia’s quick-thinking has earned her the title of the leader of the cult and the power has gone to her head - she has lost all interest in preventing the divorce. Lucy must swallow her pride to convince Pia to help her reunite their parents ASAP. Download script
