CHARLIE
⧫ A perky, optimistic and incredibly determined woman with a love for her people and
passion for her Hotel. She wants to do right by her kingdom and find a way to redeem
Sinners into Heaven but has a very naive understanding of good and evil. She is silly,
energetic and vaudevillian, but she can be crude and snarky when pushed far enough.
⧫ Estranged daughter of Lucifer and Lilith, she is constantly vying for their approval
and hopes the hotel will make them proud.
⧫ Converted Lucifer’s old building into the Hazbin Hotel to help rehabilitate sinners!
⧫ She’s very energetic, zips around and is not afraid to openly show emotion.
She’s very in your face and excitable.
⧫ She has a Demonic form, when she has intense emotions.
ANGEL
⧫ Angel is devious, playful, confident and energetic. He hides his vulnerability behind his flirty persona and has a lot of trouble trusting anyone. Angel struggles with drug addiction and mistreatment from his abusive director, Valentino, but he is strong and defiant and would do anything for those he truly cares about. He often deflects his emotions by being overly raunchy with his humor and seemingly not taking things seriously. Sarcastic and snippy with a bit of New Yorker flair.
⧫ Died in the 1940’s, Angel Dust is the first Sinner Hazbin Hotel is attempting to redeem.
⧫ Drug addict and famous Pornstar.
⧫ He was in the Mafia when he was alive and is still good with guns.
⧫ Made a “Demon Deal” with Valentino, his abusive Boss.
⧫ His design is based off a jumping spider, he has powerful legs.
VAGGIE
⧫ Vaggie is serious and capable, but she can be easily frustrated and quick to act defensively. She believes in Charlie’s goals but usually has to balance how to realistically achieve them.
⧫ Skilled in combat and very protective of her girlfriend Charlie, Vaggie has a fiery temper and is an intense fighter.
⧫ Vaggie has a dry tone and sarcastic sense of humor. She is a skilled dancer, a secret softy and is constantly battling her own self loathing which causes her to be judgmental of others.
⧫ She is not a Sinner. She’s a capable and trained fighter and wields an Angelic spear.
⧫ She’s the ‘Straight Man’ character type.
⧫ Her design is based on a moth.
⧫ Smart and knowledgeable, she will protect those she loves.
HUSK
Husk is old, grumpy and easily frustrated. With the mouth of a sailor and the attitude of a gambler, Husk grew up in a casino and all he knows is that kind of life. He can always be found drinking and he often acts as the shoulder to cry on for the other members of the hotel. He can usually be a voice of reason when folks come to him with their problems.
Behind his gruff demeanor, Husk can be surprisingly level-headed. A secret softie with a very gritty exterior and not a supplier of the nicest words.
⧫ He’s a gambler and a magician.
⧫ He made a deal with Alastor. He has to do whatever Alastor demands of him.
Alastor can summon him with a click of his fingers.
⧫ Died in the 1970s.
⧫ He’s a good listener, asshole with a heart of gold and short temper.
⧫ He’s an alcoholic and is almost always seen downing a bottle of booze.
SIR PENTIOUS
Pen is a very wacky, Saturday morning villain. Big laughs with a goofy and expressive manner of speaking. He’s a bit of a dork, but he can be sinister and intimidating when he wants to.
Creative and always striving to be ‘modern and cool’, Pentious is a very comedic foil for the Hotel, often trying to cause problems to get attention.
⧫ Has a “rivalry” with Alastor and Cherri Bomb. ⧫ Wants to join the Vee’s.
⧫ Sir Pentious is from the Victorian era. He likes to build steampunk machines, but fails when he tries to be modern and hip.
KEEKEE
KeeKee is Lucifer’s pet/literal key to Hazbin Hotel. Charlie is her current owner.
ALASTOR
Once a well-known radio host in 1930s New Orleans, Alastor knew he was on the fast track to Hell when he started killing people. In Hell, he is feared and respected and constantly wears an unnatural, wide toothy grin on his face.
Mysterious and unpredictable, wielding immense threat, he is a wickedly charismatic host of the Hazbin Hotel. He is the cheshire cat of the show, devious but playful with a sadistic sense of humor. He has the flair of a ‘Great Depression era’ radio showman!
⧫ He dislikes modern technology.
⧫ Straight backed, confident, loves to sing and never shuts up.
⧫ He is a known cannibal.
NIFFTY
Niffty is perky and adorable but has a creepy side. She loves cleaning, but often can be found in the dirtiest of places. She isn’t afraid of mess and doing the dirty work Alastor needs done in the hotel, all with a gleeful charm. She has a very high-pitched, hyperactive voice and a comedic energy. She has a fixation for ‘bad boys’ and will often stalk them. While her intent is relatively harmless, folks have a hard time shaking her as she seems impossible to get rid of.
⧫ Small and fast.
⧫ Seen hanging out with KeeKee a lot.
⧫ Like Husk, she has made a deal with Alastor. The three are often seen as a trio. Alastor can summon her on demand.
⧫ Her pupils shrink and veins appear in her eye when she is crazed.
