Brooks Wheelan is from Manchester, Iowa. He went to college and got a degree in biomedical engineering, then did that professionally until he left to go write for and be on Saturday Night Live. In 2015, he released his debut album This Is Cool, Right?, which hit #1 on the iTunes charts and was included on PASTE Magazine’s 10 Best Comedy Albums of 2015 list. He's NBC’s Late Night with Seth Myers, AP Bio, HBO’s Girls, Comedy Central’s The Half Hour, @Midnight, Adam Devine’s House Party, Netflix's I Think You Should Leave, MTV’s Ridiculousness, TBS' CONAN and other stuff he's less proud of. Rolling Stone named Brooks as one the Top Acts of Bonnaroo 2014. In 2012 he hit the comedy scene in stride when he was invited to perform at the New York Comedy Festival as a part of Comedy Central’s Top 10 Comics to Watch, and was a breakout performer as a new face at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. 

 

Abso Lutely Productions was founded in 2007 by comedians Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim and producer Dave Kneebone. It began as a means of producing the surreal sketch comedy show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! for Adult Swim. By prioritizing the amplification of fresh and unconventional comedic voices, Abso Lutely has become a destination for ideas that push the boundaries of traditional comedy. It produces shows for major networks including Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Showtime, IFC, and Netflix, and is known for such breakout hits as Nathan For You, The Eric Andre Show, and Magic for Humans.

 

Tim Heidecker is a comedian, writer, director, actor, and musician, best known as one half of the comedy duo Tim & Eric, alongside Eric Wareheim, and as the star of the long running parodic film review show, On Cinema and its various spinoffs. In addition to his work as a creative force behind projects produced by Abso Lutely Productions, Heidecker has also acted in films such as Bridesmaids (2011), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and Us (2019). In 2020, Heidecker launched The Hei Network, an independently run website and streaming platform for his various projects within the On Cinema universe. Heidecker also appeared on a 2020 episode of Brooks' Wheelan's podcast, Entry Level, where the pair discovered that both of their dads worked at car dealerships in the midwest. Isaac Rentz is a writer/director who co-created Wheelan Motors with Brooks Wheelan. He is known for music videos that have been viewed by billions (Katy Perry, Nick Jonas, Cage The Elephant), and his Netflix movie, Opening Night (starring Topher Grace).
